I am the child of people who get bored easily. I have moved 12 times in my 19 years of living. If you do the math, that's about one move every one and a half years. I've met more people and moved more than most do in a lifetime.
That’s what makes me a great writer. I understand people. My nomadic lifestyle has given me endless perspectives, countless stories, and an innate ability to observe the world around me.
​My name is Ella Bartosik. I also go by Mule, Squirrel, LA, or Pilot (not really. I did fly a plane once).
My love for writing started early. In fifth grade, I became a published author with a poem about the beach. After that, you couldn’t stop me. I grew up in a house where the TV was merely decor and I was told "Be careless" every time I left the house by my mother (I now have that tattooed on me). So naturally, my most used app is the Notes. Writing has introduced me to incredible people, opened doors I never imagined, and even won me a cooler.
Creativity fuels me.
I’m a writer, a thinker, and someone who thrives in ever-evolving environments. Places where I can push boundaries, challenge ideas, and be surrounded by creative, talented people. It’s what excites me, what drives me. Guess I am my parents’ kid after all.
